The Annex restaurant went all out for St. Patrick’s Day – they celebrated the occasion twice.
On Saturday, March 15th, the festivities started with a foot-stomping Irish Pub Night, featuring the Keltic Cowboys. The fun ran from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Then, on Sunday, March 16th, the Annex kept the good times rolling with an afternoon of traditional music and Irish songs. Neil McDaniel, Melody Cameron, and Derrick Cameron played to a full house from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The show was free, and all ages were welcome to join in on the fun with singing and step dancing – participation was encouraged.
Of course, no St. Paddy’s Day celebration is complete without some special drinks. Over the St. Patrick’s Day weekend, the Annex served up some drink specials, including green beer, pints of Guinness, and their Irish stammers – a combo of half a pint of Guinness and a shot of Irish Cream Whiskey. Plus, they had tasty Irish Maid cocktails and leprechaun shots to enjoy.
Special menu items included a classic Jigg’s dinner and an Irish Boxty brunch.
It was a weekend filled with sunshine, music, and good cheer – a perfect way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
