Dear Editor,
In response to John David MacIsaac’s excellent letter last week concerning Pierre Poilievre, may I suggest that as well as the inevitable corporate interests Poilievre’s strings are pulled by his mentor Stephen Harper. Do you remember him? He was the PM who cleared out all the portraits of previous PMs from the government buildings and replaced them with pictures of himself. He was the PM who promised us a government of fairness and transparency and gave us the absolute opposite. He privatized or sold off our resources, as he did when he sold the Canadian Wheat Board to Saudi Arabia. Let’s not go back there again.
