It’s Showtime is not a one type genre kind of show. Instead, “It’s Showtime” showcases a mixture of crowd pleasing favourites covering a broad range of music from country, folk, and gospel to rock ‘n roll, blues, and jazz, with a hint of original pieces as well.
The show features ‘local’ professional singers and musicians from Inverness County with years of musical experience and history who enjoy entertaining local audiences.
The versatility of each of the group members contributes to and reflects the group’s blend of music and creates a unique chemistry that is reflected in the music and showmanship of each performance. In keeping with ‘local’ singers and musicians, It’s Showtime is rich in talent and offers affordable ticket prices for a night of entertainment for all.
Group members are: Judy McIsaac (vocals, guitar), Jeannie Beks (vocals, guitar), Johnny Gillis (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Brian Doyle (guitars), along with up and coming musicians Steve Hughes (bass) and DJ Timmons (drums).
It’s Showtime takes place on the Strathspey Performing Arts Centre Stage in Mabou on Saturday, March 30th, with concert starting at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $30; $25 for students and Strathspey members and are an additional five dollars if purchased on the day of the show.
